The Truth About Heaven - What You Were Never Told
What If Heaven Isn’t Somewhere You Go?
We've all been told stories—stories about heaven, clouds of glory, gates, and harps. But what if heaven isn’t about a place you go to? What if it’s a reality—a knowing—that you step into by becoming aware of what’s within you?
It’s like looking into a mirror and realizing the reflection isn’t something separate. It’s you waiting to be noticed.
Jesus wasn’t asking us to worship him for his awakening; he was inviting us to follow his lead so we, too, would transcend the smallest of our self-made human identities.
In stepping beyond the small self, life doesn’t shrink—it expands.
Sacredness in the Everyday
But what about our daily, mundane lives—the grocery store runs, the dishes, the school drop-offs? How does this fit in? It’s not about retreating from the normal things we do in life. Nor is it about striving for some holiness of perfection.
It’s about moving from effort to expression—to express love: love for yourself and those right in front of you.
“Jesus wasn’t asking us to worship him for his awakening; he was inviting us to follow his lead so we, too, would transcend the smallest of our self-made human identities.”
Heaven isn’t found by reaching outward. Heaven is revealed by going within. When you understand this, everything changes. Life becomes less about doing and far more about being present in this moment, no matter what the moment is.
Each interaction in life now—whether mundane or glorious, exciting or boring—becomes sacred, not because of the task itself but because of the awareness you bring to the task. The task becomes sacred because of who you are.
The Kingdom Is Within You
Take this as your invitation—not to become something more, but to recognize the vastness of what you already are. Heaven is not waiting for you—it’s within you.
The kingdom has been with you all along, quietly waiting for you to notice and step into your fullness. Just as Jesus declared, "I and my Father are one." This truth was not His alone—it’s yours, waiting to be realized. Because truly, you and The Father, the Divine, the Creator, are one.
